Application for Master Studies are done online at the website universityadmissions.se. There you will also find all the necessary information needed regarding deadlines, and all you need to know.

Costs

Application and tuition fees are only required for students outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland. Formal exchange students and doctoral students will be exempted from tuition fees, as well as the application fee. The application fee is 900 SEK and the tuition fee at Uppsala University has been specified to 135,000 SEK for one year studies. The application fee should be payed when submitting your application on www.universityadmissions.se. Regarding the payment of the tuition fee, it should be payed as soon as you receive your notification of selection results, i.e. that you have been offered a place in a programme.

Besides the fees, you must also be able to cover your living expenses (food, accomodation, etc), plus the course literature. Currently the amount demanded is 7,300 SEK per month 10 months each year. As part of the visa application process you need to be able to show that you have money for the whole two years (a sum corresponding to at least 146,000 SEK) in a bank account in your own name.
